With the holidays and just life in general we have been so busy. Who knows what?... obviously not updating my blog! We hope everybody has had a great start off to the new year. Well ours started off to be a great year until last weekend. We found out that</span> <span style="font-size:180%;"><strong><em><span style="color:#ff0000;">SNOW + RAIN = FLOODED BASEMENT!</span></em></strong> </span></span><span style="font-size:100%;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000000;">Saturday we spent the day cleaning up our flooded family room. We hiked up this side hill and glassed for deer. Zane spotted this buck at this time the deer was 800 yards away. So we had to hike to get closer. It was getting dark fast so I had to take a shot. It was about 500 yards away and I pulled the trigger. It was a one shot wonder! I hit the deer in the spine and dropped him. He's a four point 21 inches wide and 24 inches tall. She started<br />preschool this year and loves every minute<br />of it. She also takes clogging and singing lessons. </div><div align="left">William was brought to us the same day that my dad past away. He is our special little guy that was named after my Dad. Right now I am staying busy scrapbooking, playing coed softball, women's volleyball, and soccer. Zane is busy working and doing taxidermy on the side. He had a great year last year with a small business and we hope that this year will be even better. We are still in our first house that we bought in 2004. Its an older home and we are fixing it up every chance we get. This last summer we re-roofed our house.
